CHILDREN'S BOOK

This was a very challenging design project that started as loose paper, and ended in a newly printed and bound edition.

This was a very challenging project because the original "book" itself was comprised of loose pages printed from a word document that a family member typed up years ago. The client did not have access to the document anymore. So I had to completely recreate the book digitally, including the images, and then adding some new elements that the client wanted. I also designed the die used on the front of each of the books with an image from the client.
This project took a lot of consulting with the client on what they wanted added or taken away from the content of the book, and more consultation with Little Mountain Bindery, who I helped bind the books. From what started as loose paper, ended up being an edition of hand-bound books.
